An extraordinary place to share.

Welcome to Aspen Ridge Ranch, where we’re surrounded by beautiful trails, top equestrian facilities, and the unparalleled scenery of the Beartooth Mountains. We feel honored to work in such a magnificent place and we are dedicated to the wellbeing of both the animals we serve and the land we maintain. You are always welcome to visit and we hope you enjoy the peace and tranquility in the aspen groves. Keeping scrolling for a deeper look at what we do.

The 250 acres that comprise Aspen Ridge Ranch are truly spectacular, and working as caretakers of the land is one of our chief priorities. A conservation easement with the Montana Land Reliance on nearly 200 acres insures this property will remain in its original and natural state. In addition, ponds were built to create natural water sources, trails are maintained and mowed, and manure is recycled to fertilize pastures and hay.

When you first enter the ranch you’ll be greeted by our beautiful main barn. There you’ll find the office, a tack locker room, feed room, and 12 large stalls with individual turn-outs. Our five pastures are just across from the barn parking area. Horses are grouped together according to a combination of age, gender, and personality. Your horse will always have a herd.

On the rise above the barn is a 150x300’ outdoor arena. This is a wonderful place to practice and train in an extensively fenced area with excellent footing and beautiful views. Adjacent to the outdoor arena you will find the “natural” obstacle course with logs, climbs, tires, and fun ways to challenge you and your horse.

What you will not miss is our indoor arena! At a grand 100x200’, this is a gift to all of us who love riding no matter the weather. The arena is now in full swing with 16 “soft” stalls complete with windows and doors and 4 enclosed “soft” stalls. It provides cool shade in the heat of the summer and keeps the wind at bay and a roof over our heads all winter. We hold year-round events and clinics in the arena.

Beyond our equestrian facilities, hay is grown for year-round consumption by the horses and cows who call this place home. We also sell our hay, a combination of Timothy, Brome, and orchard grass, to local farmers and ranches. It is a full operation come summer!

In the winter, our land is leased to the Beartooth Recreational Trails Association Nordic Center. This amazing local organization grooms the trails for cross-country skiing, which is open to all. We love working with this group and encourage you to check out their website and get out on the trails!
